Dear Readers, Abasyn University was granted its charter in 2008/09. In short span of time it has become one of the most vital, effective and rewarding seats of higher learning in the region. The University has progressed in these years horizontally as well as vertically. The University has established strong roots in the society by attracting students from all over the country. I would like to congratulate faculty and staff for these achievements, I am sure that the University will further progress in the years to come and take the academics to new heights in the region. Another great milestone has been achieved by the University to establish a new campus in Islamabad (Capital of the Country). HEC has granted NOC to the campus and will start teaching process in Fall 2012 Semester, Inshallah. The creation of this new campus at Islamabad provides a great opportunity to the students of Abasyn University to switch between both major cities of Islamabad and Peshawar. The new campus at Islamabad will work under the direct supervision of our new Vice chancellor Dr. Jamil Ahmad, a graduate of King’s London who has a rich experience in operating educational institution in Pakistan and abroad.

I am pleased to inform you that the sponsors of the University have collected generous funds to build a new multi-storey tower at the Campus in Peshawar. The tower will be operational and available to students and staff from Fall 2012 Semester.
